Tava will sponsor a Zocdoc profile for therapists who are paneled with insurance as another way to help you attract new clients.

Once you are paneled with insurance, we will automatically create your external profile for you.

Sharing your profile

In order to get paid your higher compensation rates for your own clients, market yourself with your practice website instead of your Tava-sponsored Zocdoc profile.

Compensation

You will be paid your Tava referral rates for sessions with clients who sign up on Tava sponsored external profiles. 

How clients book

Your Zocdoc profile will display the same availability you've set in your Tava profile.

Note that when clients book with you on Zocdoc, their new Tava account will be automatically created and the session will be booked. Then, they will need to click the link in their email and text to set their Tava account password and complete intake. If they have trouble finding the link, they can reset their password at care.tavahealth.com using the same email they used to book on Zocdoc. 

Intake

Clients must complete intake before they can join the session. However, they can do this anytime, even right before the session, so Zocdoc clients may join a little late for their first visit if they did not complete this in advance. 

You'll see this callout in the client's profile if they haven't completed intake:

Late cancellations and no-shows

Because clients booking on Zocdoc do not have a chance to review your policy or add a card before booking, these sessions are covered under Tava's policy so that you are reimbursed for any no-shows.

If the client still hasn't completed intake and joined the session 15 minutes after it is scheduled to start, you may mark the session as a no-show, and Tava will pay you 50% of your 90837 (53+ minute session) rate. 

Note that Tava does not automatically cancel upcoming appointments booked on Zocdoc if the client hasn’t completed intake.

To boost your Zocdoc profile, you can ask any of your previous or current clients to leave you a review on Zocdoc through this link, even if they did not book with you on Zocdoc—or Tava! Even 1 positive review makes a big difference on this site. 

Any new clients who schedule with you on Zocdoc will automatically be asked to leave a review after their session.
