All providers are reviewed individually for eligibility into the Tava Referral network. Eligibility is determined by demand and clinical performance. Please ensure you have synced your calendar and added at least 6 hours of availability to your regular weekly hours.
How to prepare to receive referrals
If you’d like to start receiving referrals, please take these steps:
Sync your calendar and set your availability. Syncing your calendar helps prevent double bookings, and the Availability tab is where you set and maintain your available hours.
Make sure your availability is up to date and includes at least 6 hours of open availability.
Add your in-person locations in Preferences > Locations. We receive a high volume of referrals from clients looking specifically for in-person care.
Review the Clinical Quality Playbook. Clinicians accepting referred clients are expected to keep accurate availability, attend sessions reliably, use Tava’s platform tools consistently, respond to clinical inquiries within 2 business days, and complete documentation within 72 hours.
Once all requirements are met, you will receive outreach from Tava to help you get set up for referrals. You can also contact therapist-support@tavahealth.com if you think you have met the qualifications.
Managing referral volume
After the Tava Health clinical team turns on your referrals for the first time, you will be able to toggle on or off your referrals anytime under the Preferences > Caseload tab.
Tava Referrals are sourced from our network of partners and may include clients using sponsored sessions as well as insurance to pay for care. All Tava Referral sessions are paid at a set rate.
