Limited Access Clients do not have a Tava account or access to Tava’s self-serve client tools. If you want to collect a payment method for billing, copays, or fees, you can send them a secure payment link directly from their client profile.
Secure payment link
The payment link opens a secure page where your client can:
Verify their identity using their last name and date of birth
Review and accept required consent
Enter a credit card
How to send the payment link
Open the Limited Access Client’s profile.
In the coverage section, find Payment Link
Select: "Email to Client"
Tava will send the secure link to the client to add their payment method directly.
Important notes
Clients must enter a matching last name and DOB to continue.
Limited Access Clients still do not create a Tava login
Links are valid for 24 hours. Additional links can be generated.
After the client authenticates, the session is time-limited and they may need to re-authenticate if they wait too long to complete it.
