What insurance networks can I enroll with?
We are continuously working to expand our insurance partnerships. Currently, we work with these insurance networks.
We do not currently accept Medicaid (including Managed Medicaid plans), Medicare (including Medicare Advantage plans), or TriCare.
How do I start the process?
Please email credentialing@tavahealth.com if you are interested in enrolling with insurance.
What information will you need?
- CAQH login information
- CAQH disclosure questions
- Citizenship and place of birth
- Practice address (if applicable)
- 2 professional references, with at least one from your same specialty
- Complete educational history including undergraduate, graduate, internship, residency, and fellowship information
- A minimum of 5 year work history, including any gaps in employment that are greater than 6 months
- Complete military history, if applicable
- Board certifications, if applicable
- Documents including your resume/curriculum vitae (CV), certificate of insurance (COI), DEA certificate (if applicable), and copy of your primary state licensure
How long until I can see clients through insurance?
Usually you'll be able to start seeing insurance clients after 2-4 months, depending on the payers and plans.
What are the stages to getting enrolled?
- Credentialing is the first step in the process, where we verify your credentials (education, background, licensure, etc) through Tava.
- Submitted is the process of sending your information over to the payer for them to perform your enrollment. Our credentialing and payer enrollment team at Tava will perform this on your behalf.
- Enrolled is when the insurance accepts you into their network.
Visit your insurance page to see the status of your insurance enrollments. You can also see the approval status of any in-person locations you have added by clicking on the arrow to expand the row.
