Why Does Tava Need CAQH Data?

CAQH is a vital part of the provider credentialing process. It holds key professional details such as your education, licenses, and practice information — all of which are necessary for us to credential and enroll you with Payers. Having access allows us to streamline and expedite this process on your behalf.

 

What Do We Use It For?

Tava uses your CAQH profile to import essential credentialing information, saving you time and reducing the need for repetitive paperwork. Specifically, we pull details like:

  • Your education and training

  • Licenses and certifications

  • Work history

  • Practice information

  • Malpractice history

 

What Else Does Tava Require for Credentialing?

While CAQH holds a significant amount of necessary information, it doesn’t cover everything we need to fully credential you with Tava. In addition to the required CAQH data, we also ask that you include the following in your application:

  • Two professional references

  • Your undergraduate degree

  • Up-to-date resume

  • What insurance you currently accept

  • Proof of liability insurance (COI)

  • Signed attestation

We’ll work with you to gather these additional details to complete your file.

 

Will Tava Change Anything in Your CAQH Profile?

No — Tava will never make changes to your CAQH profile. Our primary goal is to access and verify the information required for credentialing, we will never alter your account.

You are required to maintain a current and up-to-date CAQH profile, including attestations every 120 days to maintain credentialing status. Our Credentialing team is always able to assist with updating and fixing errors in your account if you reach out for additional assistance: credentialing@tavahealth.com 

 

What Payers Will Need to Access my CAQH?

Many insurance panels request access to your CAQH to complete your enrollments. Without access, you may be denied from their network. Most common payers that request access include:

  • United Healthcare
  • University of Utah
  • SelectHealth Utah
  • Carelon Behavioral Health
  • BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee
  • BlueCross BlueShield of Kansas
