There are two ways to download medical record PDFs, including a full EMR export when you need a client’s broader chart and record history, as well as an individual session export when you only need documentation for one date of service.
What’s the difference?
Full EMR export
A full EMR export can be downloaded from the client’s Session Activity page. This export is designed for cases where you need the client’s broader medical record, including chart history in one PDF.
Individual session note export
An individual session export is downloaded from the Session Details page. This option is best when you only need documentation for a single session instead of the client’s full chart.
How to download a full EMR export
Log in to app.tavahealth.com.
Open the client’s profile.
Go to the Session Activity tab.
Click the download icon to to export the client’s EMR.
What’s included in a full EMR export
Your EMR export will include session notes, assessments, care coordination or referral notes, and other record content in chronological order. Your e-signature and authentication details are included on session note exports.
Only documents uploaded as Official Documentation on the Session Activity page are included in EMR exports. Documents uploaded to the client profile are not included.
