| This feature is coming soon. |
This setting is designed for providers who want to manage communication directly and do not want Tava sending appointment reminders or virtual session links to Limited Access Clients.
Communication Preferences
When appointment notification suppression is turned on for a Limited Access Client:
Tava stops sending patient-facing appointment notifications for that relationship.
This includes booking confirmations, session reminders, reschedule notices, cancellation notices, no-show notifications, and other appointment-related communications.
Billing-related notifications are not affected.
This setting applies only to Limited Access Clients and is not shown for full-access clients.
How to adjust communication
Open the Limited Access Client’s profile.
Go to the Client Preferences section, and click Edit.
In the Communication section, toggle off appointment notifications.
Confirm the change.
Important considerations:
You are responsible for communicating directly with the client and providing the session link yourself. You can copy the Tava session link from your calendar to send to the client, or use another telehealth platform. Make sure you have a reliable process in place for sharing reminders, updates, and session links directly.
