Google recently made an update that automatically adds events to Google Calendar based on emails you receive. This Google update may cause duplicate or inaccurate events on your calendar.
To keep your calendar accurate, we recommend disabling this setting.
Hide auto-added events in Google Calendar (recommended)
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- At the top right, click Settings menu
Settings.
- On the left, click Google Workspace smart features.
- Next to "Show events from Gmail," uncheck the box.
- In the pop-up, click OK.
You can also stop Gmail from creating these events entirely by selecting “Manage Workspace Smart Features” and turning off “Smart Features in Google Workspace.”
Tava appointment reminders will continue to send normally.
