You can see clients virtually or in-person with Tava's platform.
Add your locations
Add the address(es) where you will hold in-person sessions under the "Locations" section in your "Preferences." You do not need to add addresses where you conduct remote video sessions.
Checking your status
Insurance requires several pieces of documentation from us about your new location, and some payers can sometimes take several months to approve it. We'll keep you updated throughout this process and let you know when it is approved to use with insurance-pay clients.
Set your in-person availability
In your "Availability" tab, click and drag to create a new Open slot or click on an existing Open slot to set the location where you will accept appointments scheduled by clients during that time slot.
Clients will be able to schedule in-person sessions at times when you have set in-person availability.
Schedule in-person sessions
Addresses you have added will appear as options under the Location dropdown when booking a session.
Communicate with Clients
The address where the session will be held will automatically be shared with your client via email, text, and in their Tava account.
It's always a good idea to confirm with your client so they know that the session will be held in person. If they are running late, find the client's phone number in their profile and give them a call to make sure they can find the location.
Document the session location
Before submitting your session note, double-check that the Location dropdown is set to where the session actually took place.
