Sessions have a duration of 50-minutes by default. Changing the session length does not change the payout rules related to a given referral or coverage type. We encourage providers to adjust session length according to the recommended range for that session type.
Changing duration for a new session
To change the duration of the session you're scheduling, select the dropdown button, and choose the session duration from the list.

Changing duration for an existing session
If there is already a session on your calendar and you want to change the scheduled duration, begin by clicking on the session. Select "Reschedule Appointment."
Select a new duration from the dropdown, and add a message to the client. Click "Confirm and Send."

Are clients able to book on the quarter hour?
No, this feature is only available for providers to schedule sessions. Clients can only book on the hour or half hour.
Are clients able to book session lengths shorter/longer than 50-minutes?
No, scheduling sessions with a custom duration is only available for providers. Clients can only book 50-minute sessions.

When should I edit the session duration?
All sessions default to the standard 50-minute calendar block when scheduled. Some sessions have duration requirements. When that applies, we recommend adjusting the session to 45 minutes or otherwise staying within the recommended range for that session type.
